Free Mitsubishi Organizational Chart
Here is a brief summary of the organizational chart of Mitsubishi Corporation, from the first level up to the fourth level, without mentioning individual names. At the very top sits the General Meeting of Shareholders, followed by the Board of Directors and the Audit & Supervisory Committee, which together provide oversight, governance and strategic direction for the company. Reporting into the Board is the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) together with an Executive Committee which executes the board’s mandates, oversees the overall corporate operations and makes decisions on high-level investment, risk and global strategy. On the third level the company is organised into eight major “Business Groups” such as the Environmental Energy Group, Materials Solution Group, Mineral Resources Group, Urban Development & Infrastructure Group, Mobility Group, Food Industry Group, Smart-Life Creation Group and Power Solution Group; each of these groups operates as a strategic business unit under the corporate umbrella. At the fourth level each Business Group is further subdivided into functional offices (such as a Group CEO Office, Administration Dept., Internal Audit Dept.), and into business divisions and regional or product units that manage specific operating domains (for example a mobility service division, a next-generation energy division, a global markets department, a logistics & food distribution division) which report to the Business Group heads and carry out the operations, product development, regional deployment and support services for their areas.
