What is an Operational Plan?
An operational plan is the sub-concept or sub-part of a strategic plan. The operational plan helps teams, offices, and specific departments plan specific details on how to contribute to the achievement of the objectives and goals of the school. It usually plots the day-to-day activities of a specific area in the department that needs improvement and hopefully reach that achievement in a specific time during the day, week month or at least the year.
The sample operational plan is limited to a day to a one-year basis of activity. What it simply means that it has a specific deadline and not at all long-term. This tells your department or office what you have to achieve in the near future. I provided the necessary activities needed with full details in order to achieve a task that was part of the strategic plan.
The operational plan can modify what was said in the sample strategic plan but only if it does not change the original plan entirely. The team usually plots the deadline for their own task in their department just as long as it does not take that long that it would eventually go past the original plan during the making of the strategic plan.

In a way it can be imagined as the school heads making the sample strategic planning and the accounting department, faculty, canteen department have assigned things to do in order to achieve what was being strategized in the first place and that part is the operational plan.
