Responsibilities and Duties:

Assisting in the upkeep and repair of all biomedical equipment.

Performing regular inspections, cleaning and calibrations of equipment in accordance with established protocols.

Reporting any equipment malfunctions or defects promptly to the Biomedical Services Manager.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

An associate degree in biomedical engineering or related field.

Demonstrable experience in equipment maintenance and repair.

Ability to work well under pressure and solve problems efficiently.

Sound knowledge of medical equipment safety procedures and policies.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
