SPEAKER CONTRACT
This Speaker Contract ("Contract") is made effective as of [Date], by and between [Your Company Name], with its principal office located at [Your Company Address] ("Organizer"), and [Speaker's Full Name], residing at [Speaker's Address] ("Speaker").
Recitals
WHEREAS, the Organizer is hosting the "2050 Global Leadership Summit", a corporate event scheduled to take place on October 15-17, 2050, at [Event Venue], [Venue Address];
WHEREAS, the Organizer wishes to engage the Speaker to deliver a presentation as a motivational speaker, industry expert, or trainer at the said event; and
WHEREAS, the Speaker agrees to provide such services under the terms and conditions outlined in this Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. Engagement and Services
The Speaker is hereby engaged by the Organizer to perform the following services for the "2024 Global Leadership Summit":
Deliver a 45-minute presentation on "Innovative Leadership in the Digital Age".
Participate in a 15-minute Q&A session following the presentation.
Provide a 2-hour workshop session on "Building Effective Teams in Remote Work Environments".
2. Performance Date and Time
The Speaker agrees to perform the services on October 15-17, 2050, starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 5:00 PM each day for the "2050 Global Leadership Summit".
3. Compensation
3.1 Fee
The Speaker shall be compensated with a fee of $5,000, payable within 30 days following the event.
3.2 Expenses
The Organizer agrees to reimburse the Speaker for reasonable travel (economy class), accommodation (standard room), and meal expenses incurred in connection with the performance of the services, upon presentation of valid receipts.
4. Preparation and Materials
The Speaker agrees to submit any presentation materials for review by the Organizer by September 1, 2050. The Organizer reserves the right to request modifications to ensure the content is in alignment with the event's goals and audience.
5. Intellectual Property
The Speaker grants the Organizer [Your Company Name] a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and distribute the presentation materials for promotional purposes and to make the materials available to event attendees. The Speaker retains all intellectual property rights to their presentation materials.
6. Cancellation
6.1 Speaker Cancellation
If the Speaker is unable to perform the services due to circumstances beyond their control, the Speaker shall notify the Organizer immediately. The [Your Company Name] may, at its discretion, agree to reschedule the presentation or terminate the Contract without penalty.
6.2 Organizer Cancellation
If the Organizer cancels the event for any reason other than force majeure, the Organizer agrees to pay the Speaker the full compensation as agreed herein.
7. Indemnification
Both parties agree to indemnify and hold each other harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their respective breaches of this Contract.
8. Confidentiality
The Speaker agrees not to disclose any confidential information obtained from the Organizer without prior written consent.
9. Entire Agreement
This Contract constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, agreements, or understandings of any kind.
10. Governing Law
This Contract shall be governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
