Dear Dr. Johnson,
I am writing to formally submit a complaint regarding an issue I have encountered with my grades for the Fall 2050 semester at Springfield University. As a final-year student in the Computer Science program, this issue has caused considerable distress and threatens to delay my graduation.
The specific problem pertains to my final grade in CS450 - Artificial Intelligence Systems, taught by Professor Michael Thompson. On October 10, 2050, the grades were posted, and I was shocked to see that I received a D, which I strongly believe is an error. I have been consistently performing well throughout the course, scoring above 85% on all assignments and exams, including a 92% on the final exam. I immediately contacted Professor Thompson on October 12, 2050, via email, to inquire about the discrepancy, but I have not received a response.
This grading error not only affects my academic record but also puts my scholarship at risk, which requires maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.5. As a result, this has caused me significant stress and uncertainty regarding my graduation scheduled for December 2050.
I kindly request the university to take the following actions:
Re-evaluate my final grade for CS450 based on the assignments and exam results I submitted.
Provide a timely resolution to this matter so that it does not impact my scholarship or delay my graduation.
I trust that this issue will be addressed with the urgency it requires. Please confirm receipt of this complaint and provide a written response within 14 days outlining the steps that will be taken to investigate and resolve this matter.
Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Sincerely,
