Dear Ms. Cummerata,
We write to formally notify you of the termination of your contract with our company. The termination is effective immediately as of the date on this letter, in accordance with the contractual provisions that we both agreed upon.
We have completed an exhaustive assessment of your project, and unfortunately, it has not met the key performance indicators outlined in our agreement. We understand how disheartening this might be and would like to emphasize that this decision was not reached lightly.
However, after careful review, it was determined it would be in the best interest of the company to terminate the contract. Please ensure any company property is returned by the end of the week. You will be paid for services rendered through the effective date of termination.
