Cover Letter Format

- Name of the position: Get the name of the position and the details of the post you are applying for. This name of the post should come in the subject line. (e.g., “Re: Application for Stock Controller position”)
- Your Skills: Include all the information which makes you the right candidate for the job. Your academic credentials are important but your skill as an employee is far more interesting to the prospective employer.
- Summary: A summary of what drives you in & why you’re right for the job. Ask them to check the resume. Ending with thanks and future actions for an interview.
