The successful candidate will be someone capable of inspiring cross-functional teams and ensuring our operational strategies align with our broader objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement operational strategies that mirror our business objectives.

• Identify areas of improvement, streamline workflows, and use best practices for optimal operational efficiency.

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, HR, and IT, ensuring operational excellence and effective collaboration.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends and areas requiring attention, to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field; an MBA would be a plus.

• Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on operational strategy and process optimisation.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mobilise teams.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and utilise performance data.

Additional Requirements:

• A fundamental understanding of the retail grocery market would be advantageous.

• The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and diverse working environment.
