Handyman Contract

This Handyman Contract ("Contract") is entered into between [Handyman Services], hereinafter referred to as the "Handyman," and [Client's Name], hereinafter referred to as the "Client," effective as of June 1, 2050. This Contract outlines the terms and conditions governing the provision of handyman services by the Handyman to the Client.

1. Engagement

The Handyman agrees to provide home repair services to the Client as requested and mutually agreed upon. The Client agrees to engage the Handyman for the specified tasks outlined in the Work Allocation section of this Contract.

2. Term

This Contract shall commence on [Start Date] and shall remain in effect until the completion of the agreed-upon tasks unless terminated earlier under the Termination clause outlined herein.

3. Work Allocation

The Handyman shall perform the following tasks as requested by the Client:

  1. Repair of plumbing fixtures.

  2. Installation of electrical appliances.

  3. Painting of interior walls.

  4. Replacement of damaged flooring.

  5. Other home repair tasks as agreed upon by both parties.

4. Compensation

The Client agrees to compensate the Handyman for the services rendered based on the following terms:

  • Payment shall be made at the rate of [Rate] per hour.

  • Any materials or supplies required for the completion of the tasks shall be reimbursed by the Client upon presentation of receipts.

5. Rights and Obligations

  • The Handyman shall exercise reasonable skill and care in the performance of the tasks outlined in this Contract.

  • The Client shall provide access to the premises and necessary utilities required for the completion of the tasks.

  • Any changes or additions to the scope of work must be mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate this Contract upon written notice to the other party in the event of:

  • A material breach of the Contract by the other party.

  • Failure to perform obligations under this Contract after a reasonable opportunity to cure.

  • Force majeure events that prevent the performance of the Contract.

7. Confidentiality

The Handyman agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information obtained during the provision of services to the Client.

8. Governing Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

9. Entire Agreement
