Terms and conditions are very important for any contract. Your catering contract must have all the necessary information of the client like the client’s name, address, telephone number and email address, the event’s date and specific location, the event’s start time and expected duration, the number of guests, etc.
Your contract should mention all your company’s policies, as the client might not know them all. Mention a pay agreement in the contract which includes all the costs for the services you are providing, as well as tax and gratuity. Give a specific date as to when you want your payment. You can ask your client for an advance deposit, in case you have extra expenses to bear for the event. As event details may change unexpectedly, make sure you have a cancellation fee agreement, in case the event gets cancelled. Get a breach of contract clause added, so that both you and the client are aware of the legal actions going to be taken if any issues prevail.
Leave space at the bottom of the contract for your signature and that of your client with the date. Always include a paragraph before signing that states you guarantee for all the services and also provide your contact number in case any changes are to be made. Be 100% that your client reads the complete agreement before signing it.
