How to Make a Personal Planner in Word
Sorting out your own day doesn’t have to take up too much time and effort; usually, you really only need a few minutes of planning to do this. Though, it’s understandable if you don’t know how to even start, which is where our Ready-Made Personal Planner Templates can help you.
But, maybe you’re having trouble looking for the right editing software that provides a simple yet effective way to edit our templates with. If so, then Microsoft Word is the program that you need! Have a look at the steps (found below) if you need some guidance for using Word and our templates.
1. Visit the Microsoft Office Store
Microsoft Word is a well-known and long-trusted productivity tool that’s easy to utilize for any level of proficiency. If you don’t have access to this handy tool, then you can find it at Microsoft’s online Office Store; pick from one of their monthly subscription plans to download Word. You can test out the waters before subscribing by taking up their free trial offer (which is good for a whole week).
Don’t have a desktop computer of your own? That’s not a problem since Word is available to download on mobile OS platforms — Android and iOS. If you ever have to work while on-the-go, then this is just the thing that you need!
2. Choose and Download a Suitable Planner Template
There’s a healthy selection of editable planner templates that we have up for offer. If you’d like to download a Ready-Made Personal Planner Template from this page, then click on the corresponding thumbnail of the desired template; a new tab should open up in your browser. On the new page, use the large download button to save the template file onto your computer/device storage (a few simple steps will appear for you to follow). Feel free to rename the file to something that you can better remember.
3. Edit Your Planner Template; Update When Necessary
Were you able to pick out a template? Open the file in Word, then customize it as you think your plan through. Since the template already sports a premade layout on it, all you have to do is input any relevant details.
As you type out the content, remember to make it easy to read back later by using an appropriate style and color for your font. Be sure to make the most out of your planner by incorporating all of the different sections of your template (checklist, schedule, etc). Word lets you add in pictures/images of your own, so you can personalize the look of your planner if you’d like.
Because of Word’s availability on Android and iOS devices, you can update your planner whenever and wherever you need to! You can also print out the template as is, if you want a paper copy to carry around instead; just make sure you bring a pen or pencil along with you.
4. Consider Other Tools
You can further organize yourself by implementing other types of documents (such as a flowchart or an itinerary). By using Microsoft Word and our versatile templates, you can prepare dates and timeslots accordingly without getting lost!
