9+ Tattoo Cursive Fonts
Another post in our assorted series of font styles! This one is for tattoo cursives, which is an interesting visual concept merging two distinct font styles. Tattoo art is a diverse art form in itself which, like street art, is best known for its more dominant trends. Cursive is any typeface fashioned with connecting letters. Combining the two, we get something that’s great not just for tattoo lettering but also for brands, posters, labels, and what have you.
Download these stylishly divergent font faces as PSD or vector files, and add that distinct flavor to your projects.

Use Tattoo Cursive to Stand Out in Style
You don’t have to be a tattoo artist or a graffiti painter or even a professional designer to see the value in these fonts.
Good design is like this – you just know it when you see it.
- The Fancy Tattoo Cursive Font is an instant best-seller for marketing products, while the Tattoo Cursive Alphabet will make for eye-catching posters.
- The Girly Tattoo Cursive Font isn’t so much as girly as it is classic and ornate. Professional tattoo artists actually do have this as an option for their tattoo fonts. The “Beyond Wonderland” script is popular as well, especially in old-school tattoos.
- Use the Tattoo Lettering Cursive Font for that easy extra oomph and ooh-lala.
- Mans Greback’s “Fabulous” Tattoo Writing Cursive Font is a classic one a lot of companies will trip over themselves to get to first. Graphic designers take note.
- Sci-fi and high-fantasy fans, consider the “Sacred Geometry” Tattoo Cursive Number Font. This is a staggeringly beautiful and esoteric creation by Aleksandra Slowik. The letters are actually composed of sacred symbols and totems like the menorah, god eye, moon and fire signs, etc.
If you’re looking to cast a professional sheen over your work—even if it took you ten minutes to throw together—free and low-cost tools like these fonts are your best friends.

Notes on How to Use These Fonts
If downloaded as an OTF or TTF, font files are considered vectors. This means they are not set in fixed pixels such as bitmap, JPEG and PNG formats. Instead, they can be resized to extreme lengths without any pixelation or loss of quality.
The AI and EPS vectors work exactly like this but are treated as individual images rather than a font file you can import.
If downloaded as a PSD, it is no longer a “take it or leave it” option because now it is customizable. You can change not only the sizing and dimensions but also in some cases the hues and saturation to better suit your artistic vision.
Note that these cursive fonts are included in this collection based on the quality of the design and how well it represents the theme. Understandably, some of them will only be usable at a price, while others are available for free. Always make sure to check for licensing restrictions as well if you use any of these in commercial projects. For personal projects, go crazy.
