What is an Appreciation Invitation?

This sample invitation stands as a recognition of someone's efforts about something. The person is invited by someone or a company as a way of appreciating his or her efforts. This way, people who are appreciated will feel more valued. If you are a company, a study found that 35% of the employees regard that lack of recognition in work is a barrier to their productivity, so appreciating employees is important.

How to Make an Appreciation Invitation?

Recognizing someone's effort is something noble. May it be a customer appreciation, a teacher appreciation, a business partner appreciation, a client appreciation, a sponsor appreciation, or an employee appreciation, you can follow these steps to make your own appreciation invitation:

1. The Appreciation

Decide what kind of event you want to invite someone. Is it going to be an appreciation luncheon, a breakfast, a lunch, or a dinner in a restaurant. After you have decided where, then you can now start making your creative invitation.

2. Design

For your invitation card, you need to make it as presentable as it can be since you are giving it out to invite someone or a group of people. You need to decide what kind of designs you are going to lay out on the invitation. You can research online about the design you want. If you are going to have a dinner or a party which is formal, make sure to make your invitation formal as well.

3. The Wording of Your Invitation

This is an important section of your event invitation. Make this something that will make your reader feel valued. You can write, a simple "Thank You!", "For all your efforts throughout the year, let us give you something in return...", "To our favorite hero...", or "We appreciate you...". This will guide your guest/s what the invitation is all about. Another thing, you can add more message on your invitation. However, don't make it so long because it will steal some space on your invitation that is for another information. When you write a short message, make it direct.

4. Schedule of the Event

On your party invitation, write the date of the event. When will the appreciation event happen? To add with, include the time of the event. Also, don't forget to put where the event will take place. Is it in a restaurant, in the office, or a ballroom? Make sure that you keep the address specified.

5. Some Details

You can include in your simple invitation some guidelines for the event. You can write what kind of attire they should follow. You can write for example, "Must wear formal attire" or "Requested to wear casual attire."

6. The Reply from the Guests

You can't conclude that all the people you invite can come, so if you want to know who can attend or not attend, you need to leave a note for RSVP. You can leave the name of the person and the person's contact number to be contacted by the guests if they will attend or not. After you have reviewed your work, you can now send the invitations to your guests.
