A label is a small piece of paper, fabric, plastic, or similar material connected to an object and giving information or details about the object. And not just that, it also provides information such as—especially in foodstuffs—the use, shelf life and disposal, and manufacturer information.
Labels are necessary to give important information to consumers and for them to know as well who manufactured the product. Our list of labels or Free Label Templates in very unique summer designs are ideal for those who are looking for a new label layout. Check them out now.
So since we are talking about labels with summer designs, let us also get to know more about one of our favorite seasons—summer.
Summer is the hottest of the four moderate seasons, falling between spring and fall. At the summer solstice, the days are longest and the nights are shortest, with the day length decreasing as the season progresses after the solstice. The starting date of summer differs per climate, culture, and tradition. When summer hits in the Northern Hemisphere, it said to be winter in some parts of the Southern Hemisphere and vice versa.
Summer is customarily associated with hot or warm weather. In the Mediterranean region, it is also correlated with the dry climate, while in other countries—specifically in Eastern Asia because of the monsoon—it is connected with the rainy climate. The wet season is the main time of vegetation growth within the savanna climate system. Where the wet season is associated with a seasonal change in the predominant winds, it is known as the monsoon season in some parts of Asia (any wind that changes directions with the seasons).
Summer is called Icumen In, or known as the “Cuckoo Song,” is the oldest English round song yet discovered, dating from the mid-thirteenth century.

Generally, schools and universities usually have a summer break to take advantage of the warmer climate and much longer days. In most countries, kids are out of school during this time of the year for summer break, even though dates may differ. Public schools typically end in early June in the United States, while early in May, college students get out. Even more schools get out on the last or second last Thursday in May. Summer is also a time to relax and unwind in beaches and other places that are ideal for a summer vacation like mountain ski resorts.
