Luxurious Fashion Brands and Their Iconic Logos

Be it a Retro Style Logos or a vintage or modern style, you’ll never go wrong with fashion logos if you keep it sleek, timeless, chic, and simple.

Here are quite a few iconic examples of fashion logos and their origin as referenced by Rock The Trend:

  • Chanel. The iconic interlocking back-to-back Cs was designed by Coco Chanel in 1925. The Chanel logo was based on her initials.
  • Versace. Versace’s logo was based from Medusa’s head as chosen by Gianni Versace in 1978. Gianni’s love for classical themes inspired his logo of choice.
  • Gucci. If the Chanel logo has interlocking Cs, the Gucci has interlocking Gs. This was named after Aldo Gucci’s father, Guccio Gucci, and was founded in 1921 in Florence, Italy.
  • Givenchy. If Gucci has interlocking Gs, then Givenchy has quadruple Gs forming a square. The logo was created by founder Hubert de Givenchy.
  • Fendi. With all the patterns being mentioned, Fendi has double Fs facing each other with the other one being inverted. This was designed by Karl Lagerfeld in 1962.
  • Louis Vuitton. The founder’s son, Georges Vuitton, designed the monogram in 1896, which appears to be a Japanese-inspired floral monogram with the brand’s (LV) initials on it. This was designed to distinguish itself from its competitors.

The Imitation Luxury Brands

Ever noticed something from those iconic Fashion Logos? They seem to create simple yet classic and timeless fashion logos—something that may seem very simple to most people—but it has that undeniably elegant and alluring factor which makes people, especially fashion enthusiasts to even want them more. And this indeed makes these luxury fashion brands iconic and sought after. You can also see Free Logo Templates .

Some stores and shops would even mimic their products, including their brands, selling consumers imitation goods from these luxury brands. But, hey, imitation is the highest form of flattery, right? And this has been going on for a long time until now.

The Logo Is also the Brand

Every time people see an iconic Fashion Logos, they can definitely tell what the brand name is. It’s the very first thing that people see when looking for something in shops or at the mall. Once that certain fashion brand has established its way and reputation, it’s much easier for them to market and advertise to individuals, most especially for women who are aesthetically inclined.

The only thing that they probably have to do is to maintain their brand, their reputation, and, most of all, their quality.
