Importing a transparent PNG file takes a few minutes. Just follow these simple steps.

  • Step 1: Save/Download PNG Image to your device

    To get started in importing the PNG image, first, download the image directly from whatever site you found it to your device. You can choose to save your image on your desktop or on your Downloads folder which you’ll need to find later.

  • Step 2: Open Adobe editing software

    Next, you can open whichever Adobe software you wish to import. For this case, we will use Adobe Photoshop as an example.

  • Step 3: Click ‘File’ and ‘Import’

    Next, move the cursor to the menu bar, click ‘File’, and then ‘Import’ on the dropdown. It will open a window where you can choose your PNG file, from that window you can search for your PNG file wherever you saved it whether it is on the desktop or Downloads folder as mentioned in Step 1.

  • Step 4: Click the ‘Import’ button

    Once you have picked the transparent PNG image, click on the ‘Import’ button again. Your PNG image will maintain its transparency and the visual sign is that the background of your PNG image is white. Now you are all set!
